Startup Southwest Dallas Region (SSDR) seeks to utilize governmental and private resources and access for entrepreneurs to develop relationships, opportunities, and knowledge required to succeed in business. We promote the development of strong ecosystems in communities as businesses grow and thrive, whereby the creations of jobs are the products of our commitment. Our commitment to excellence shall provide entrepreneurs with access to capital, business mentors, reduction of barriers, acceleration of innovative ideas, marketing opportunities to sustain and ensure business success. Startup Southwest Dallas Region is an entity derived from the Whitehouse Initiate of 2011 to create jobs by using entrepreneur’s intent on growing their businesses.
SSDR seeks to serve the underutilized section of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This area is defined as City of Dallas, south of Interstate 30, Balch Springs, Cedar Hill, Desoto, Duncanville, Glenn Heights, Grand Prairie, Hutchins, Lancaster, Midlothian, Ovilla, Red Oak, Seagoville, Waxahachie, and Wilmer.
